The time has come to say goodbye to the ‘Revenge of the Cartels’ seasonal event in Borderlands 3 and say hello to the next major content update. The game’s next patch arrives on June 11, and will introduce fixes to the recently reworked Mayhem Mode, as well as ‘Takedown at the Guardian Breach’.
The new end-game quest will give players another way to earn Legendary loot while they wait for the upcoming story expansion, ‘Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption’, scheduled to launch on Thursday, June 25. Bounty of Blood will send the Vault Hunters to the brand new planet, Gehenna, where they will team up with some fresh faces in order to defeat the Devil Riders Gang.
If you need something to hold you over until the story expansion arrives, you can check out 15 minutes of gameplay from the upcoming DLC above. The gameplay video showcases the brand new vehicle that players will use to traverse the dangerous frontier, as well as some of the new areas, weapons, and enemies they will find on Gehenna.
‘Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption’ releases on Thursday, June 25, and is available with the Borderlands 3 Super Deluxe Editon and Season Pass.
