The Tales of series offers an anime-inspired world and adventurous experience through countless worlds and locations. This seems to remain the case while looking at the newest entry in the series, Tales of Arise. Bandai Namco’s brand-new animated movie captures that thrilling, fast-paced action and deep character building that we hope to see in this new installment!
Animated by the incredible Japanese animation studio, Ufotable, and featuring the song “HIBANA” from Japanese rock band Kankaku Pierrot, this short glimpse into the world of Tales of Arise gives fans a lot to look forward to while raising the hype factor.
Follow the story of a masked individual named Alphen whose home planet Dhana has been the victim of enslavement, stripped of its natural resources for 300 years by its neighboring planet Rena. Whilst fighting the cause to free his people, Alphens path collides with Shione, a girl on the run from her home planet Rena. As their paths collide, others join them in their journey, creating a memorable cast of characters to engage with.
As the Tales of series enters a new generation of gaming, it has evolved its combat systems to offer a better sense of spectacle and direct player feedback based upon their actions and inputs. Enhancing the previous combat, this new and improved system carries the DNA of the Tales of series while adding so much more. Alongside this development, Tales of Arise will also feature a new Atmospheric Shader that will give the visuals on screen the appearance of a hand-drawn painting.
