Developer LCB Game Studio and publisher Chorus Worldwide have set a release date for their second visual novel in a series inspired by 80s computer graphics, Varney Lake. The title is set to be released later this month.
Varney Lake continues the anthology started in last year’s Mothmen 1966 and you will work on the 30-year-old unsolved mystery that has been consuming paranormal investigator Lou Hill. You will have to dig deep into the minds of Jimmie, Doug, and Christine to uncover what happened to them during their childhood summer vacation at Varney Lake. You will unwrap the experiences they had and unravel the dark mystery that took place. You will retrace their recollections and discover a run-in with a vampire! Tying the whole story together with brain-tickling puzzles, branching narratives, and meaningful choices.
Varney Lake has set up camp to release on April 28th for PC via Steam, Playstation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Check out the release date trailer below.
