October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and this year marks the launch of the “Research for the Win” campaign that the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) created to unite gamers against the deadly disease.
This campaign aims to raise funds to continue the foundation’s ongoing fight, through the power of the gaming community.
Esportswear company We Are Nations and a bunch of Esports teams are helping by getting involved in many different ways. They’re selling exclusive apparel and are donating 20% of each item’s proceeds to the BCRF. You can find pro jerseys, beanies, an interactive pin, plus a selection of custom t-shirts that have been designed in collaboration with teams such as Complexity, Disrupt, ENCE, G2, Ghost Gaming, Good Crazy, North Gaming, UYU, and XSET.
You can take a look at them right here!
Team UYU is also going to be hosting charity streams and tournaments for the month. The streaming dates are listed below:
10/8 - UYU Tekken Team Tournament
10/12 - UYU Fall Guys Tournament
10/15 - UYU Queen of the Hill

The BCRF also teamed up with a couple of other organizations to bring a couple of other programs to the gaming community such as a Splatoon 2 Charity Tournament and a workshop at the Esports Business Summit.
