Since its announcement in the summer of 2020, fans of the upcoming title, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League have been waiting for just a glimpse of the actual gameplay it has to offer. Well luckily, tonight at The Game Awards, Warner Bros. Games and Rocksteady Studios finally pulled back the curtain and gave us an almost 3-minute long gameplay trailer that shows just how awesome its playable cast is.
Set up as an open-world third-person shooter, Suicide Squad is touted as being a “genre-defying” action-adventure from the legendary team that gave us the Batman: Arkham franchise. The trailer itself is a high-octane rollercoaster of smooth and inventive gameplay that really puts its characters’ powers and abilities to full use, showcasing awesome traversal abilities and attacks that look as epic as ever.
Players will be able to play alone or with up to three friends online to take on the mantle of each of the four playable Suicide Squad team members. Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark are on the roster to play as on their mission to take down the universe’s greatest heroes, the Justice League.
There’s no official date as to when this game will drop other than it will do so in 2022 and will release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
