The HHN Spec Maps Have Done It Again, Universal Reveals Fallout Will Make Its Theme Park Debut

It’s finally happening. The fog of reveal season is rolling in, and Universal just confirmed one of the most exciting haunted houses of the year: Fallout is coming to Halloween Horror Nights.

This is Universal’s first partnership with Amazon MGM Studios, and it's a big one. The hit series is making the jump from screen to scream, and we’re heading straight into the Wasteland.

The house kicks off in Vault 33, where we’ll follow Lucy MacLean as she escapes a violent massacre that’s just the start of something much darker. From there, we’ll break out onto the surface, and that’s when things really get intense. Think Scavengers, Raiders, and those horrifyingly oversized RAD Roaches, all waiting around every corner.

The house is taking us through the series’ narrative where we’ll make stops at places like the Super Duper Mart, a chilling encounter with The Ghoul, and even a close-up look at Maximus in full T-60 Power Armor (this should be really cool, we’ve see the Transformers). It’s immersive, it’s gritty, and it’s everything I didn’t know I wanted until the rumors started flying.

Honestly, I didn’t expect Fallout to show up at HHN this year, but once I saw it pop up on the spec maps, I couldn’t stop thinking about how cool it could be. And now, one of my wishlist houses is real. If this is how we’re starting reveal season, I can’t wait to see what else Universal has in store.

And for the cherry on top, the Fallout house has been confirmed for both Universal Studios Hollywood and Orlando. So no matter which coast you’re creeping through this October, the Wasteland will be waiting.
