With just days away from its launch, we got the latest teaser of Cyberpunk 2077 in the form of its new photo mode trailer. It’s fairly short but shows off enough to continue my hype train at full speed. We get to see a lot of manipulation of our character, V, the camera angles, and so much more. Of course, there’s the standard stuff like filters and whatnot but it goes even further than that. For example, not only can you change V’s poses but their facial expressions as well. Add stickers for flair if you want to really make it look punk rock too. I really cannot wait to give this game a whirl.
Along with the trailer came a nifty little tweet from the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account where they warn gamers who get a copy of the game that they should hold their horses when it comes to uploading or streaming gameplay. In order to keep spoilers off of the internet, CD Projekt Red has enacted a global embargo of the game until 6:00 AM EST on December 9th. I think that this is extremely fair and I’m happy to see them taking it so seriously. It also makes me wonder what exactly they’re so fearful about leaking early.
