It has been seventeen years when the original action-adventure game Onimusha: Warlords was released for the PlayStation 2. Now, Capcom announced that the game is getting a remaster and will be released on January next year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch.
There is still little information on the upcoming remaster but Capcom assured fans that it will include “updated features including high-definition graphics, widescreen display option, analog stick support, a readily available Easy mode option, and a new soundtrack.” Moreover, the remaster will be priced at $20.
Onimusha: Warlords takes players in feudal Japan that implements historical Japanese figures and supernatural elements. The original game was played in third person and featured an exciting combat and puzzles for players to solve.
The remake of Onimusha: Warlords is set to release on January 15, 2019, for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch.
