We finally got a release date for Tin Hearts from developer Rogue Sun and producer Wired Productions. If you want to check it out, we previously covered Tin Hearts here. It was just announced that Tin Hearts will release on April 20th on all current platforms, plus there will also be an open Beta test to try out over Valantines weekend for all those lonely tin hearts out there. Specifically, players can sign-up now for the closed PC beta, which will be running from the 10th - 14th of February on Steam, and the 17th - 19th of February on Utomik.
The Beta will allow players to experience the opening acts of Tin Hearts, guiding tin soldiers through a trail of puzzles using whimsical and inventive contraptions to bounce, shoot, and glide them to their goal. In addition to the upcoming Beta, players can now register their interest in the Tin Hearts physical edition, which comes complete with a digital EP download and inventive stickers, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch today via the Wired Productions Store.
The new release date trailer that accompanied the announcement will cover a unique viewpoint of the game’s story, that of the tin heart soldiers themselves! The story is set in an alternate-timeline Victorian universe, and the ‘Dear John’ trailer highlights the magical toy-filled world of Tin Hearts, through the lens of the tin soldiers themselves.
Tin Hearts is coming out on April 20th, 2023 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC via Steam, and Xbox Series X|S.
