The Lovecraft-inspired investigation thriller by Frogwares, The Sinking City, has been out for just over a year now. The game initially launched on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC back in June 2019. Now the game is expanding its player-base by launching on EA Origin with all previously available DLC, including the Nintendo Switch exclusive ‘Merciful Madness’ expansion.
EA Origin users have a few options when it comes to purchasing the title. They can either purchase the standard or deluxe editions of the game for $49.99/$64.99 respectively, or users can take advantage of one of the Origin Access subscription plans ranging from $4.99-$15.99/month or $29.99-$99.99/year.
Alongside the platform announcement, Frogwares Games also revealed that they are working on bringing the ‘Merciful Madness’ expansion to other platforms sometime in the future. The Sinking City is currently heavily discounted (75% off) on the Xbox Store as a part of their Summer Sale and is available for full price on EA Origin, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. I would include the Epic Games Store, but it would appear that the title has abruptly disappeared from the store listings.
