THE SPONGEBOB MOVIE: SPONGE ON THE RUN Has Been Officially Delayed

After a certain degree of speculation, Paramount Pictures, the distributor for the 3rd Spongebob movie: The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run has officially postponed the wide release of the film. Sponge on the Run is yet another major Hollywood picture that is being pushed back due to the ongoing Coronavirus 2019-2020 pandemic.

Sponge on the Run will be the first bit of Spongebob-related media to be fully animated using computer-generated imagery. Celebrities Snoop Dogg, Awkwafine and Keanu Reeves are confirmed to have roles in the film. The new release date for Sponge on the Run will be August 7th, 2020.
