For all you Witcher fans out there who also play Lost Ark, there’s some amazing news! Amazon Games and Smilegate RPG have teamed up with CD Projekt Red for a crossover event between the two series. The limited-time crossover will bring Geralt of Rivia, Yennefer of Vengerberg, Cirilla Fiona Elen Rianno, and other Witcher characters to the world of Arkesia. The crossover will introduce a new island, White Wolf’s Haven, where players will team up with characters from The Witcher to solve the puzzle of a mysterious interdimensional vortex.
The event will give players the chance to acquire special Witcher-themed items; new Witcher-themed cosmetics will also be available in the store, and new character customization scars, Cards, Stronghold structures, Emojis (and more) will be obtainable for players who participate in the collaboration event.
The collaboration will include voiceover work from The Witcher’s original actors in a new story set in the new world of Lost Ark. After the occurrence of the strange vortex, Lost Ark players investigate the source of the unexplained phenomenon, and they encounter a visitor from a different time and place, Geralt of Rivia. This starts a chain of events in which the player will face the mystery of this interdimensional vortex, meeting even more visitors from another dimension along the way. In this collision between worlds, players of Lost Ark will team up with characters from The Witcher to solve a puzzle that spans time and space.
Lost Ark is available on PC via Steam. The free event is coming to Lost Ark players in North America, Europe, South America, and Australia in January 2023.
