Fortnite has become synonymous over the years with exciting collaborations and unique, in-game cosmetics, and that trend continues this week. The legendary hip-hop group, Wu-Tang Clan, is bringing their signature style to the in-game item shop this Saturday with the Wu Wear collection that includes character skins, a special emote, and back bling and pickaxe items with music reactivity.
Each outfit pack can be purchased individually, or players can buy them together in a bundle that also includes the Wu-Tang Hands Emoticon, a graffiti spray, a loading screen, and a themed banner. The emoticon is also available for individual purchase alongside a unique glider and cosmetic weapon wrap. Alongside this announcement, Epic Games revealed that they’re further collaborating with Wu-Tang Clan to create real-world apparel, including versions of the outfits players can purchase in-game.
Both the in-game collection of cosmetics and the real-world apparel will go on sale on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022, at 8 PM ET. Fortnite is available now for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via the Epic Games Store.
