Actors Will Arnett and Ashley Burch took to The Game Awards stage this week to debut a new story trailer for their upcoming game, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. The new title in the series revolves around the player’s identity as the Fatemaker, a new customizable character that can sport a variety of appearances and use a wide range of abilities.
Will Arnett will portray the game’s central antagonist, a necromancer by the name of the Dragon Lord. It will be up to the players and their ragtag team of allies to put a stop to the Dragon Lord’s dastardly plot.
Andy Samberg and Wanda Sykes will play two of these allies who are newcomers to the Borderlands series: Valentine and Frette. Valentine is described as a boastful space pirate who has a much higher opinion of himself than others do, while Frette is his long-suffering crew member who spent decades as an accountant for a now non-existent enterprise.
The game also features several returning characters from previous Borderlands titles, including the titular Tiny Tina as the game master, Brick as a very muscular fairy, and Mr. Torgue, the infamous gun manufacturer, who can be seen wielding a magical, spell-slinging guitar.
Alongside this trailer, Gearbox Software and 2K have also discounted Tiny Tina’s Assault On Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure on the Epic Games Store and PlayStation stores in both the United States and Europe.
