Square Enix’s latest installment in the Tomb Raider series called Shadow of the Tomb Raider, is just a month away from release to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Now, Xbox players can busy themselves by playing Tomb Raider: Legend and Tomb Raider: Anniversary as both titles are now playable on the Xbox One via backward compatibility.
Both Legend and Anniversary were successful titles during their time with the PS2, PS3, Xbox and Xbox 360. Now, thanks to the backward compatibility feature of the Xbox One, players can relive their favorite moments while waiting for the release of Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
These classic Tomb Raider games will be available on the Xbox store for a sale price of $1.99. Tomb Raider Legend was initially released twelve years ago, and pretty much laid the groundwork for games such as Uncharted. Anniversary, on the other hand, was released back in 2007 and served as the remake of 1996’s original Tomb Raider game.
Are you excited to relive these games on the Xbox One? What other classic titles would you like to see on Xbox One soon?
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is slated to release on September 14 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
