From developer Adglobe, and publisher Binary Haze Interactive, comes news that their upcoming dark fantasy RPG Redemption Reapers will be released to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam for Windows PC in February 2023.
The Ashen Hawk Brigade is outnumbered in a dangerous land, constantly confronted by the ruthless Mort army. They must fight against insurmountable odds in tactical combat across 3D maps, utilizing synergies between party members to outsmart their foes. Craft new weapons with the spoils of your victory and grow the relationships between party members as you lead the Brigade through challenges and turmoil in the land the Mort ravaged.
Combining an emotional story of righting past wrongs to become legends and tactical turn-based combat, Redemption Reapers is looking to be an interesting release for early 2023. How will it fare in a genre that, while traditionally underrepresented, has seen large success in recent years? Only time will tell if the story and combat will be a hit or a miss.
