Valve Adds Official Team Fortress 2 Mod Support With SDK Update

Team Fortress 2 became the face of early hero shooters, and despite years of not getting any major content updates for players, it is still a massive and thriving community of loyal players alongside Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2.

With their latest update, Valve has given modders even more freedom to make content for the game as long as it is free and does not break any copyright to be put into the game for other players to enjoy.

In their blog post, they highlight the new SDK update, and how it is different from Steam Workshop.

This is definitely a major break for content creators for one of the oldest active titles out there, and I know I am looking forward to seeing what game modes and more can sprout from this.
