Frontier has had a strong hold on the park builder genre for years, especially with Planet Coaster 2 and Jurassic World Evolution 3, two games I still find myself jumping back into because they remain some of the best in class. While Planet Zoo has fallen out of my regular rotation over time, that is about to change because Planet Zoo 2 is officially on the way.
This sequel is already bringing two of the most requested features fans have been waiting for: aquariums and aviaries. On top of that, the addition of Wildlife Reserves makes it clear that Frontier is continuing to listen to its community and expand what these management sims can be.
Planet Zoo 2 is set to launch on October 13th, and with that date now on the calendar, there should be plenty more announcements to come.
