It has been an awfully long time since I have done this but it seems like a good time to bring it back! What are you playing this weekend? Having a week slammed full of articles and video projects I don’t often get to play many things during the week. Even on weekends, the stuff I failed to complete during my week tends to steal more precious game time than I would like. But this weekend, at long last, I have some precious moments to dive into a number of games I can’t wait to (re)play!
Spider-Man PS4
I still haven’t played Marvel’s Spider-Man from Insomniac games on PS4 since its release. A recent sale at Best Buy saw the game discounted to $15 so I figured the time had finally come to jump in! My boy is a huge Spider-Man nut so I am hoping we can experience the story together and have a blast. I also have to see this whole water downgrade drama people were freaking out about!
Star Wars Rogue Squadron PC
I love Rogue Squadron and I think you all know that by now if you frequent the site. I have recently become a new owner of a 3DFX Voodoo 2 graphics card which finally allows me to replay a bunch of PC classics using the Glide graphics API. I did a little testing with it earlier this week and man it looks so much better than Direct 3D it’s ridiculous! I can’t wait to experience the whole game like this. If only that stupid camera bug wasn’t a thing…
