World of Warcraft: Forever naming guidelines
World of Warcraft: Forever creates more options for name selection with its two-name structure. Rather than having a single name, characters will be required to have a first and surname. So, if your pick of a first name is taken, it doesn’t mean that you’re forced to pick something different all together — just switch it up with adding a unique last name.
It’s important to remember that some original naming rules still apply and names must align with the in-game code of conduct, so that means offensive names or attempts to bypass filters can result in a forced name change or ban.
How to reserve a name in World of Warcraft: Forever
To reserve a name in World of Warcraft: Forever, you will need to have purchased the Skyborne Heroic Pack, Skyborne Epic Pack, or Warcraft Forever Collection.
Afterward, boot up the Battle.net desktop app and make sure you’ve installed World of Warcraft: Forever. Select “Play” and choose your preferred ruleset: PvE, PvP, or RP. From there, you’ll be able to create up to three characters with whichever name you’ve decided on.
Note that you can only reserve three total names across all rulesets. So, if you create two in one ruleset, you’ll only be able to reserve one more in another ruleset.
And most importantly, make sure you act fast, as it’s first come, first served!
