During The Game Awards 2021, the teams over at Smilegate Entertainment and Remedy Entertainment unveiled the release date for their upcoming Xbox exclusive title, CrossfireX. To do this, they released a trailer showing off gameplay the highlights the single-player campaigns for this first-person shooter game. The game is set to release on February 10, 2022, for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S with a free multiplayer for all players to enjoy.
Aside from the fully-fletched out multiplayer, this game will feature two single-player campaign Operations. These two are called Operation Catalyst and Operation Spectre, which will be available at launch, but more details about them will be revealed in the future.
CrossfireX aims to immerse players in a sprawling global conflict between Global Risk and Black List, two of the world’s most formidable private military factions. Based on the trailer shown above, they definitely have at least caught our attention. Plus, a new free multiplayer is always worth looking into.
