Man, this year really is just becoming a repeat of 2019 as Microsoft has just confirmed it is still going to have a presence at E3 2020 in the wake of Sony announcing it was dropping out again. Phil Spencer took to Twitter to reaffirm that the team was hard at work for the show.
With the new consoles launching this year, there is a ton of potential for a lot to be shown. Even with Sony’s absence there is going to be a ton to see this year at E3. Indie developers have been given a better opportunity to showcase their stuff and seeing more smaller companies get the spotlight has been really cool to see. What the future holds for E3 is still wildly up in the air but I think there is still a reason for the show to exist. i can’t wait to see how this year turns out!
