Microsoft has officially confirmed that they will be hosting their first-party games showcase later this month on July 23! The showcase is set to start at 9 AM PST/12 PM EST with a pre-show hosted by Geoff Keighley starting an hour earlier. This showcase is set to deliver nothing but first-party reveals with the flagship Series X launch title, Halo Infinite, being confirmed to show off gameplay.
No other games have been confirmed for the showcase so far but chances are high we are in for some surprises! I am hoping we might finally get a glance at whatever The Initiative has been working on for the last few years. A surprise reveal of either Conker or Perfect Dark would also be extremely welcomed. Is it weird that I also want to see a sequel to the long hated Brute Force? A true dream would be to see a new entry in the Mechassault franchise as was rumored back at E3 2019! Regardless, I am pretty excited to see what is shown and how it will leverage the power of Series X.
