Indie developer Prideful Sloth just announced that their hit adventure title, Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles would be making its Switch debut this week.
Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles was initially released for the PlayStation 4 and PC last Summer. The game revolves around a custom player character exploring the mystical island of Gemea in search for sprites. The player is faced with The Murk, which is a suffocating fog that threatens to destroy the world and all of its residents. Besides the adventure and sprite-hunting, Yonder also includes some Harvest Moon inspired mechanics such as farming, fishing, and cooking, which supports the local townspeople.
The Switch version of the game will contain some exclusive features, which will include a photo-mode that allows players to share in-game screenshots with friends. The digital version of the game is scheduled to release this Thursday, May 17, 2018. A physical version of the game will also be available at a later date on June 12. Players can get the digital version of the game for $29.99 while the physical edition will be slightly more expensive at $39.99. You can pre-order the physical version of the game via Amazon.
Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles is slated to release for the Switch on May 17. The game is already available for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
