24-Hour Live Stream Gaming Event to Fight Lupus

This weekend GameTyrant will be joining forces with Big Shiny Robot podcast in order to help  Entertainment Is Dead on a 24-hour live stream gaming event to help raise money for the Lupus Foundation of America: Utah Chapter. The stream will be taking place at the game-development-centric Neumont University in downtown Salt Lake City, featuring a slew of indie developers showcasing their amazing new titles. Players will be throwing down for dominance in a variety of competitive multiplayer games as well.

The stream goes live at 7:00 PM PST on Entertainment Is Dead's Twitch Chanel. To make a donation at any time, you can visit the dedicated donation site. Below is a short description of the stream's main events:

While the stream will consist of multiple gamers playing multiple titles, there will be a few focus events our viewers may find extra interesting. From 7:30 pm to 8:00 PM PST Jimmy from the Big Shiny Podcast will be facing off against Danielle of Hello Sweetie Podcast in an Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 grudge match. Donate to support your favorite contestant and enter the drawings during the time frame. From 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM PST we will be playing Legacy of the Elder Star, a Bullet Hell shmup developed in our own backyards by Kickbomb Entertainment. We will be running a high score competition among event participants with shout-casting by the developer and others. After the bullet-hell is complete, we will begin a 4-player death match with random participants brought to you by our friends at Fueled By Rockets with their upcoming title Crashnauts. This event will include fervent competition among participants and include world-class shout casting.
