Developer Thing Trunk and publisher Skystone Games are announcing their newest addition to the Book of Demons called Hellcard. Players are invited to wishlist the game ahead of the release date on February 16th, 2023. In anticipation of the release of the game, there is a new trailer to showcase the gameplay style. It highlights how this title combines adventure with RPG elements and strategy mechanics to create a one-of-a-kind deck-building co-op experience.

For the players that can’t handle waiting for the game to release, the developers have released a Prologue to ease the anticipation and allow players to get in on the action today! Playing the Prologue will give players a preview of what is yet to come and will even include both single and multiplayer game modes.

Hellcard takes place in the setting of the paper dungeons first introduced in the Book of Demons. This title is a deck-building game that brings fast-paced technical battles that will ensure that this is not “just another deck-builder.” It also brings a number of unique features that set it apart from other deck-building games and will make you consider each move you make carefully. For instance, monster placement is crucial if you want to gain an advantage in your battles.

For players who prefer a multiplayer experience, Hellcard will offer co-op battles with up to 3 friends working together to defeat the Archdemon’s hordes. Multiplayer will be available for everyone to play with friends or with a random teammate online.
