Heading back into 14th century France and taking the role of a teenage girl with a young boy to look over, the challenges will be more extraordinary than you’d initially expect. Asobo Studios and Focus Home Interactive are working on A Plague Tale: Innocence, which is a game that will put you in the shoes of this exact role.
With violent people, challenging travels, diseased rat packs, and so many other dangers lying ahead, how can anybody hope to survive? Let alone the thought of making sure a child is able to grow up regardless of the harsh surroundings. There will certainly be dangers around every corner, but don’t just take it from me, the team themselves have started a web series that puts a spotlight on all the aspects of the game. Check out Episode 1:
While they do speak French and the whole video is in subtitles, you can hear that the game will have English dubbing. This is certainly a relief, but even with the subtitles as our only option it is great to learn more about A Plague Tale: Innocence. I remember there was a web series on the Vampyr before it launched, and it helped heighten my interest in the game then and this web series is doing the exact same thing. I was excited to see that they have already launched the second Episode of this web series as well.
A Plague Tale: Innocence looks to be quite an intricate game with dramatic moments for both the characters and the players. Difficult decisions will have to be made and the actions to execute these decisions will need to be done. With the game launch set for May 14 on the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, I am looking forward to being pushed to answer their question, “How far are you willing to go to survive?”
