A Plague Tale: Innocence is one of the best action-adventure games of the past few years, with a narrative that pulls at your heartstrings, and memorable characters to accompany you on a journey set during the Black Plague. If you haven’t played this excellent title yet, it’s currently free to grab on the Epic Games Store for the next 24 hours.
This is part of the Epic Games Store's yearly holiday festival of free games, and there were plenty of great games to redeem, including Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition. The game is one of the more technically impressive titles of the last generation and made good use of Unreal Engine 4 to deliver outstanding visuals. It’s a decently sized adventure and should take most players around 10-15 hours to finish.
