Some exciting news just released for players of Amazon Games free-to-play MMORPG Lost Ark, Amazon Games has just announced the release date for the highly anticipated May Update will be Wednesday, May 10th.

What everyone is waiting for with the Slayer Lost Ark Academy update is none other than the new Slayer class. The Slayer class will be the fifth Warrior Advanced Class and the female remix of the Berserker class. In Lost Ark, the Slayer will focus on overwhelming anything in her path with her greatsword and Burst Mode. Successful attacks with the Slayer will fill the Fury Specialty Meter, which, when full, can trigger Burst Mode. During Burst Mode, several stats are significantly enhanced and players will have access to a Specialty skill which then unleashes powerful slashes and stabs.

The rest of the new update is considerably smaller in terms of scale yet still interesting for players. First of all the update adds the Punika Powerpass which will be similar to the North Vern Powerpasses from the launch version of Lost Ark, the pass will allow players to bring an alternate character into the game once they have completed the storyline through that continent. Additionally, players will receive Item Level 1340 gear.

After the pass is the Hyper Express Event II, in the event players will be able to designate one character between item Level 1340 and 1460 on their roster to participate. During this event, players will earn honing materials to quickly level up to Item Level 1460 and beyond. The last big part of the May Update is the release of the Engraving Support System, which will allow players to choose 4 engravings to be in effect at level 3 during the event.

Lost Ark is available on PC via Steam and the Amazon Games App. The May Update will launch on Wednesday, May 10th.
