It wouldn’t be an Arc Raiders update if you weren’t tasked with some good old maintenance duty. The Riven Tides update is not the exception, and the Battening Down quest will see raiders travel to the ocean shores to do some pipeline fixing.

Since you’ll be walking for a while, and the objectives might be a bit vague, continue reading to know how to complete the Battening Down quest in Arc Raiders.

How to complete the Battening Down quest in Arc Raiders

Battening Down is pretty straightforward, since you’ll be walking across the Riven Tides shoreline, which isn’t particularly dangerous. You are better off using the free loadout to save your gear for other quests in the update.

Photograph the cracks forming in the seawall

Just east of the Port Authority Building, you’ll be able to find the seawall.

Be mindful that there are many reported locations across the seawall, so be on the lookout for the one nearest to you, depending on your spawn location. I found one in the location shown below.

Sample the shoreline near the hotel beach

From there, walk west toward Azzurro Beach, located north of the Hotel Panorama Azzurro.

On the beach, you’ll find multiple seaweed clusters. Approach one of those and sample it to complete this quest step.

Fix the leaking oil pipe in the northeast

Finally, you’ll have to walk all the way to the northeasternmost part of Riven Tides.

Once you get there, locate the dual pipes on the ground. Walk alongside the one on the left, starting from the seawall, and you’ll eventually find the spot you’ll need to fix. Interact with it to complete the objective.
