Just because we live in an apocalyptic world where dangerous drones have taken over the world in Arc Raiders, doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy a movie or two! Apollo in the Movie Night mission from the Headwinds update asks you to go searching for a Portable TV and some old movie tapes on the surface.
Some of the instructions given for this quest are confusing, especially when you realize it doesn’t all have to be done in one round. We’ll clear up any confusion in this Movie Night quest guide for Arc Raiders.
How to complete the Movie Night quest in Arc Raiders
There are two main things you need to finish the Movie Night quest in Arc Raiders: a Portable TV and old movie tapes in the Cultural Archives on Stella Montis. While both of these things need to be delivered to Apollo, the quest makes you think you have to find the Portable TV in the same round that you find the movie tapes. This is untrue, so don’t worry about getting both items in one round.
Where to find a Portable TV
The Portable TV is a rare item that is often found in Residential areas. Some popular Residential areas in Arc Raiders are:
Pale Apartments & Ruby Residence (Dam Battlegrounds)
Grandioso Apartments (Buried City)
Village (Blue Gate)
You can still find a Portable TV in many other areas that aren’t specifically marked as Residential, so keep an eye out. But those areas are still the best places to scout for that item.
Cultural Archives old movie tapes location
Upon arriving on Stella Montis, head to Cultural Archives on the southeastern side of the map. You will find the exact location of the old movie tapes on the left-hand side of the large room. It’s a covered stack of crates near a wall marked with a blue “X”.
You should see the option to search for VHS tapes. Search for them, and they’ll drop. Make sure to pick those tapes up and place them in your safe pocket in case you don’t make it out of this round alive.
