Hardspace: Shipbreaker is entering Early Access on June 16th, so players will soon be able to experience the brutal world of spaceship salvage.
The latest gameplay trailer from Blackbird Interactive and Focus Home Interactive shows what players will encounter when working off their insurmountable debt to the Lynx Corporation. The space sandbox salvaging game is all about cutting, disassembling, and safely reclaiming all of the valuable parts and resources from derelict spaceships.
But there are a lot of hazards that threaten the whole operation. Unstable reactors, exposed gas lines, depressurized ship modules. And so much more.
The exciting part about Hardspace: Shipbreaker entering Early Access is there will be a chance for the developers and the community to share ideas and feedback on what can make the game better. New tools, ship types, hazards, game modes, and more can be further developed to create a better gameplay experience for the official launch.
Personally, the idea of carefully cutting away parts of a ship while avoiding dangers sounds like a therapeutic activity to me, so I’m pumped for the game. Hardspace: Shipbreaker launches in Steam Early Access in mid-June and it’s coming to consoles at a later date.
