The beta for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be live at 10 AM PST/1 PM EST today on PS4. It will run all weekend and come to an end on Monday, October 17th. I'm sure if there are issues we will likely see the beta period extend beyond the stop date.
Gamespot reports three maps will be available to play. One is on a space station, another on a research facility on one of Jupiter's moons, and the final one a 1950s themed map. Players will have access to 3 of 6 combat rigs and multiple game modes.
It will have to be a pretty impressive beta as the game has received a ton of bad press and fan response since it's announcement. Many were scorned by the futuristic direction, hoping instead COD would be returning to historical wars. More recently, people were shocked to learn that the game download (which is packaged with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered if you pre-order) could total out to 130GB's. That's about a quarter of a consoles memory if you own a 500GB.
