In an attempt to outshine the rest of the titles at Gamescom 2022, Squanch Games released an extended look trailer for their upcoming comedy-action title High On Life. Made by the same creators of the popular Rick & Morty series, this game is going to be a waggish take on first-person shooters.
Enjoy an awesome trailer featuring a lengthy chunk of gameplay in a battle against the bounty target 9-TORG. Of course, if you prefer the censored version, you can watch that here instead of watching the trailer above. The rest of you can enjoy the raunchy comedy from talking guns (and a knife) as they take on a boss battle in an irreverent sci-fi universe.
On a serious note, the fact that they are willing to have a censored and uncensored trailer is telling that the game itself will likely offer the same opportunity. This does open the game up to a wider audience, but doesn’t do much to change the fact that this game is going to get a bit gnarly!
Once you are done enjoying that boss battle, check out the video below for 11 minutes of actual gameplay that isn’t all shooting and action. Just proof that there is a story with footage of walking, talking, exploring, and, of course, more shooting.
High On Life is set to release on December 13th for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Are you excited for this upcoming unlikely yet wild adventure?
