With excitement and anticipation rising for the next Resident Evil Remake title to be released, it is time we took a proper look at the 1999 vs 2020 comparison. Tim and Syd from PlayStation sit down with Resident Evil 3 producer Peter Fabiano to do a friendly interview while watching gameplay from both the new and old titles. This gives players the chance to not only visually see the changes but understand why some of them were made.
Featuring over 16 minutes of gameplay between the two versions, you will easily see just how much of an improvement the remake truly is. Probably my favorite factor is that they opened up the constant narrow pathways that the original version had to give it more of an authentic city-life feel.
