A game featuring spirits from the popular Shenmue series is almost here as developers EALoGames announce a release window for Paranormal Hunter. In 2023, they will be releasing the title into early access on Steam with full keyboard and mouse, gamepad, and VR support for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Valve Index, and Windows Mixed Reality!
Join an immersive horror experience alone or with co-op partners as you explore haunted locations for supernatural encounters while hunting cursed objects. Players will have to scour derelict buildings and abandoned hospitals to secure twisted relics and perform spirit-banishing rituals. Be careful and move cautiously throughout each environment in order to avoid otherworldly pursuers. They even ensure that no two ghost hunts play out the same due to the randomized elements set up to deliver unpredictable scares and heart-stopping horrors.
Paranormal Hunter offers a handful of ways to play right off the release as they support VR and standard play. While we will have to wait for a more precise release date, we know this title will be launching in 2023 via Steam Early Access and it has been confirmed to reach Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 platforms closer to the full release.
