When it comes to combat preparations, the checklist for a knight is pretty straightforward. They need a sword to fight with, armor to protect them, a horse to ride on, and if possible loyal companions to rely on. That is what THQ Nordic and KITE Games are prepared to reveal that their players will have in The Valiant.
To show off the companions and our knight, they have put together a new trailer. From Konrad, the skilled archer, and loyal huntsman, to Grimhild, captain of the Raven Company, to Theoderich von Akenburg, the protagonist, each hero's special abilities and his or her strengths are shown off.
Prepare to embark on a journey of brotherhood and redemption set in the 13th century. Since the original announcement of this squad-based real-time strategy (RTS) title, we have been learning more and more about it. At this point, we just need an official release date!
The Valiant will release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games, and GOG. At least, for now, we got to see some combat and our companions in action.
