After reaching the incredible milestone of 1.5 million players, the well-reviewed and beloved fast-paced action title Ghostrunner hosted a two-year anniversary stream. This stream was held by publisher 505 Games and they were joined by members from One More Level, one of the development teams behind the Ghostrunner series alongside 3D Realms, and Slipgate Ironworks, to discuss details on the upcoming Legendary Ghostrunner Competition occurring on November 13.
Of course, that isn’t all they had to share because they included two surprises. The first surprise is the reveal of concept art for the upcoming sequel titled Ghostrunner 2! Here we are shown 4 different environments for the first time along with some character outfits. You can check them all out in the gallery below.
The other surprise was for Speedrunners in the upcoming Legendary Ghostrunner Competition. Since March of this year, top players have qualified for the LGC by showing off their skills in Wave Mode, and on November 13th from 9AM - 3PM PDT, the ultimate winner will be declared! The winner will have their likeness featured in Ghostrunner 2 as well as walking away with a custom replica Ghostrunner katana.
Ghostrunner: Complete Edition is available now on PC via Steam, Epic Game Store, and GOG, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, which includes the Project_Hel DLC and all other post-launch content.
