With an insane map size and dozens of activities available in the recently launched Crimson Desert, mining ore may be one of the most odd and difficult activities to understand in the entire game. Luckily, you can follow a few easy steps to unlock your first ore veins and upgrade that gear ASAP!
Follow these simple steps to mine:
Find a Pickaxe laying around any camp or trail or purchase on from any general shop in Hernand town
Explore hillsides and rock faces all around the first area, one of the easiest marked in the map above near Hernand town
Select your weapons/gear (F2 default) and select the Pickaxe
Focus and aim on any ore vein, making sure the focus point turns blue and not red
Strike and gather your ore piece then enjoy!
