From Prime Matter and Blackbird Interactive comes the news that their classically styled RTS Crossfire: Legion will be launching December 8th, and will include a free weekend from the 8-11th! Since it entered early access in May, there have been many changes to the game thanks to community feedback, most notably the removal of an in-game progressions system that featured like a store, concerning players about the introduction of micro-transactions.
At launch,. Crossfire: Legions will feature a full four-act campaign, a co-op mode, new units, new commanders, new maps, and new game modes all wrapped up in one package. When I wrote about Crossfire: Legion in my first impression, I was worried about the style of play and the lack of depth. The additions of units and commanders to the various asymmetrical factions will boost it, and I look forward to reviewing it in the coming weeks.
Crossfire: Legion will fully release from Early Access on December 8 on PC via Steam. Check out the Launch announcement trailer below and let us know your thoughts in the comments!
