REVIL, a Brazil-based publication recently came upon a discovery that Dino Crisis has been given the same trademark as Resident Evil Requiem. This could indicate that something could be cooking that isn’t a re-release of the original games. The long dormant Resident Evil with dinosaurs entry hsa been like the dinosaurs since its ill-fated and poorly recieved entry - Dino Crisis 3 back in 2003. However with the revival of Onimusha, could Capcom be looking to give Dino Crisis a new life.
It’s no secret that survival horror games are now the trend in gaming, and while Dino Crisis set the bar for it back in the days of the PS1 and PS2, we haven’t heard anything new of the IP in a long while.
We can only hope that after many years of screaming in the void - Capcom has finally heard the voices of Dino Crisis fans and decides to revive the long-forgotten IP.
