In 2024, Doom Eternal Community Mods entered Beta on Steam and only a select few players were able to take part in it. With a new update from Bethesda Studios today, Community Mods is now a publicly available feature for PC players on Steam with other PC digital stores to soon follow.
Understandably, this is a pretty good deal and a great way to keep an older game active from the community. With the mods players can make whatever they feel like and that is a big feat in itself. The update is available today for PC on Steam users with other stores eventually getting the update as well.
