The PS2 classic Dragon Quest VIII makes it's way to 3DS January 20th. This updated version of the game includes new bosses, dungeons, items, quests, scenes, and even a new ending!
This happened last time I wrote up something Dragon Quest related so let me answer the question those that are reading are asking. This game looks like Dragon Ball because the Dragon Quest series characters and monsters were designed by Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama! That's something most Dragon Quest fans already know, but if you didn't know, now you know.
If you've never played the series and are in need of a solid turn-based RPG, pick it up in the beginning of 2017. Of course, you're more than welcome to try out any of the 7 previous game through various consoles and outlets!
