The E3 presentation of Star Wars Battlefront 2 is going to feature a 40-minute assault on Theed, as well as Rey and Darth Maul going to war. No, this isn't some huge spoiler for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, this is an example of the mashups you can feature in the game as champions chosen seem independent of the era you choose to fight in. Personally, I'm a fan of that decision as video games are meant for you to live out those dream battles the movies are never going to show you.
Sounds promising so far, although we'll be offering our full thoughts on the game when we play it ourselves at E3 in a couple weeks. If you're not lucky enough to be attending, you'll be able to see EA's full presentation of Star Wars Battlefront 2 on Saturday, June 10, starting at 12:30 PM PT
