It would seem that The Last Of Us Part II might finally be released soon (knock on wood). The game has been through thick and thin, seeing its previous release dates pushed back due to varying circumstances, but I think we are finally at the end of the road. It was just recently announced that the game has gone Gold, and we got a brand new story trailer just yesterday, so I think it is safe to say that we will actually be playing the game come June 19th, 2020.
The brand new story trailer features conversations between Joel, Ellie, and others they have met along the way concerning a recent tragedy that they had experienced in Jackson. The main focus is put on Ellie as she exacts revenge on those that have wronged her, and how she deals with the physical and emotional consequences of her actions. Based on her confidence in the trailer, nothing is going to stop her.
The Last Of Us Part II is scheduled to release on June 19th, 2020. Let’s hope that the game actually gets to see the light of day when the release date comes around this time.
