Hope your pro-bending skills are up to par because you’ll need them soon. IDW Publishing, the minds behind games like Machi Koro, recently announced that they are working with Nickelodeon to create The Legend of Korra: Pro-bending Arena. I think the best part though is that this will not be the only game they make for Korra. IDW did note that they will release more games but did not elaborate at all.
When it comes to The Legend of Korra: Pro-bending Arena we don’t know too much, but here’s what we do know. It appears to be a 1v1 deck building game. One person will play the role of the Fire Ferrets and the other will be the Wolfbats. It will be a deck drafting game, but no specifics on how it will work exactly, and tokens will somehow be implemented. It will maintain pro-bending rules from the show including the win conditions. Either all the enemy team will be knocked out of the ring or your team advances the furthest.
The game will be up on Kickstarter sometime this summer. Check back with us for all the details as they unfold.
