Tomb Raider: Catalyst will release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. No Nintendo Switch 2 version has been confirmed, although it remains a possibility since Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition was released back in November 2025, followed by a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Tomb Raider I-III Remastered in March 2026.

No official pricing has been confirmed for Tomb Raider: Catalyst. If it follows the modern AAA trend, players can expect to pay $69.99 for Catalyst.
How does Tomb Raider: Catalyst gameplay work?
Other than its 2025 reveal trailer at The Game Awards, players have yet to see Lara Croft back in action. However, given the developer’s track record, you can expect a single-player action-adventure game filled with exploration, lots of verticality, combat, and, of course, puzzle solving. And, according to Crystal Dynamics, players will do so in “the largest Tomb Raider world yet,” powered by Unreal Engine 5.
What is the plot and setting of Tomb Raider: Catalyst?
Tomb Raider: Catalyst takes place, timeline-wise, right after the events of Tomb Raider: Underworld, and acts as a sequel. Set on preventing a major mythical catastrophe, Lara will visit Northern India to uncover the secrets behind the mysterious forces that guard such power. All the while, she’ll have to fend off the most dangerous treasure hunters in the world, who will do whatever it takes to use this power for their own gain.
Who voices Lara Croft in Tomb Raider: Catalyst?
Lara Croft will be voiced by Alix Wilton Regan. She has a decades-long career in video game voice acting, with roles in games such as Cyberpunk 2077, Borderlands 5, and Lies of P: Overture.
