First Day Of E3 2021 Was Big For RAINBOW SIX Fans

Ubisoft got the starting slot to kick of E3 2021 and their presentation proved to have two announcements for fans of their Rainbox Six series. Starting off with the biggest news, we were shown the reveal of the next title for the series; Rainbow Six: Extraction. In this new game, players will team up to fight against alien creatures with special weapons in order to complete various objectives. We even got a release date of June 19th on PC via Epic Games, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Google Stadia.

Not only did they come out with the cool cinematic trailer reveal that I posted at the top of this article, but they went straight into showing off seven minutes of gameplay. In it, we are shown a few of the enemies, given details on how the unique properties of the alien’s nest affect both players and enemies, get to see some familiar tools and weapons used, and generally watch a team of three be badass.

While Extraction might not be what some fans of the series were looking forward to, those playing Rainbow Six: Siege got some good news as well. Next week, they will be starting Northstar. What that means for the players is that they can get introduced to the newest member of Team Nomad, Thunderbird. To give this character a proper introduction, including a back story, they created an animated trailer. Come meet the pilot, squad.
