After launching for the iOS a few months ago, Epic Games just announced through a blog post that Fortnite will also be heading to the Android soon.
Although the developer did not release a specific release date for the Android release, it is inevitable that when it does come out, it will include all the optimizations that are on its way to the iOS version of the game.
First of all, the most prominent upcoming addition to the iOS version of Fortnite is the inclusion of voice chat in the game, that will also have a mute button in handy to ensure a safe experience for players.
“We know that communication is key when you’re squadding up for that Victory Royale, so we’re working to bring voice chat to mobile,” Fortnite revealed in the blog post. “On top of that, you’ll be able to chat with your teammates regardless of platform!”
Also, a customizable HUD just became available in Fortnite iOS this week. A blueprint appears on the screen where players can customize their display on the granular level. Other changes include a few performance and control enhancements, stat tracking, and installation size. You can check out more details on all the upcoming changes in the blog post by Epic Games.
