Being able to see monster trucks in action is something I always enjoy doing and even attend the Monster Jam show on an annual basis. While I did have some fun with their official game Monster Jam Steel Titans last year, it looks like developers Teyon and publisher Nacon have a good idea of what could improve a monster truck game based on what I saw in the Monster Truck Championship gameplay reveal trailer.
Some of the aspects that I found to be a negative gameplay part of Steel Titans are already shown as not prevalent in this new upcoming title. One of those main things being the unrealistic gravity. Plus, they are going to feature the five challenges you would expect in a real championship: Time-trial, Drag races, Freestyle, Race, and Destruction.
I have to say that the gameplay reveal has me excited for the next monster truck game! Now I just have to wait until October 2020 for it to release on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. They also said they plan to release on Nintendo Switch following the initial launch.
